Belgrade, Serbia - September 2015.

Thousands of refugees transit through Belgrade, last step before European Union, to flee from wars in their countries (Mainly Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan). Some stay there for one day, while some stay more than a month. It is in the center of the city, next to the bus station, that the camp came to life. Serbians bring them food, clothes, or simply stay and talk with the refugees.

We are seeing a rise of extreme right political parties in Europe, caused, in part, by this movement of population. Fear became a keyword.
Behind the word ‘Refugee’ is a human with emotions, playing music, dancing, laughing, searching for relief and joy. An Optimist.
